Instrmnt:

While working at Cyberpac, my partnership with Instrmnt started in 2014 as a kick-starter idea for a β€˜kit’ watch, the now iconic Instrmnt01 watch. Taking its cues from mid-century minimalist design with emphasis on quality and craftsmanship, the elements were to be displayed unassembled, with tools provided for the customer to build their own watch. An award-winning concept that needed packaging to match.

In keeping with the minimal but luxury concept, material selection was all-important, using a tactile uncoated Fedrigoni Materica Clay board covering with white foil on the lid and side. The display and layout itself has become a part of the sell, with the watch in a push fit quality grey foam to match the grey exterior.

Over a period of 4 years, I have worked with the designers at Instrmnt on limited edition collaborations, long run manufacturing orders and an eco-concept pack for a spun-form aluminium Instrmnt clock.
